That's worth reading just for the graphs. Absolutely hair raising. It seems the group most likely to be questioning their gender identity are the ones going through puberty.

We need to look at how we prepare children for the reality of puberty and how we support them through it.

This is absolutely great and right up my alley.

The rights-only approach led by Whittle et al opens the doors to all sorts of bad outcomes and unintended consequences. We must balance with safeguarding.

It is especially known that autistic girls can have issues with puberty and not wanting their body to change.

Also are desperate to fit in with social groups and we have seen evidence of a higher proportion of teens presenting at clinics on the spectrum than in the general population.

They really need protected from affirmative approaches!
