I went to Warwick in the early 1990s.
At the time it had a reputation for being liberal, progressive, even too PC.
I had a sense of optimism that things were changing for the better.
Although in the other thread someone posted about a sexual assault case that was brushed under the carpet in the late 80s, so it happened even then.

That’s refreshing to hear, Candid. There’s been a couple of threads on here in the past where posters’ sons have been facing disciplinary proceedings for harassing or assaulting women at university. I’ve always been dismayed at the posters’ reactions - utter denial that their sons could do such a thing. Well, clearly quite a number of peoples’ sons do!
