What I don't get is, if I mention to many people how annoying it is to be continually mis-named and mis-titled I'm being precious and should get over myself, and don't I have move important battles to fight - when all I'm doing is politely correcting them (if it's worth it. I have a quite unusual surname, the spelling of which is close to a much more common surname, but pronounced differently thanks to the crucial change of a couple of letters. I am frequently mis-named. It really hurts my name feels. I think I might go batshit crazy and use it as an excuse to swear at everyone next time someone does it.
