In the hilarious Sky interview, a seemingly oblivious Harrap accuses Posie of having appropriated the word woman. Maybe he's the critic they're thinking of.

Reappropriate is quite a telling term. Admits that they were trying to take from us a noun that they had no right to.

Ha ha to 're-appropriated'. That makes it sound like she's redefining it instead of just putting up the exact dictionary definition as it's been for decades and letting misogynists tie themselves in knots to explain why women being female is transphobic.

To be honest, we didn’t have to be all that brave once we were in there. They were really nice and brought us extra stools and everyone budged up so we had room to enjoy our lime and sodas.

Did you make the boys cry though?

There was a beardy dudebro at the bar who looked distinctly pissed off, but I didn’t detect any tears.

Compare the photos of the Manc Resisters with any photos of TRAs protesting outside women's meetings.

Note the geniality, the happy uncovered faces and their positive attitude to staff and customers. Take note, too, of the humour behind the determination to 'make a noise' and demonstrate solidarity with a woman who was treated abysmally.

This is what peaceful protest is about. This is the kind of action where communication with bystanders is possible and encouraged. This is the complete opposite of the bullying intimidation of TRA protests.

I applaud you, Resisters. Your action speaks volumes about the way that adult human females conduct their business and stand up for themselves.

I follow a few blue—haired Wokemaidens on social media, as real life Friends and they dont know my radfem leanings.

This T-shirt incident has caused a slight pause for thought in a few of them. We had predictable fury about the Get the L Out. Rage at Man Friday and lots of shouting down of Let a Woman Speak with calls of Transphopia.

But now they are getting cross that a woman going out in a T-shirt defining ‚‘woman‘ made the boys cry. I really hope this is a turning point that makes them think. It actually feels like a few of them have paused the rhetoric to ponder.

It’s a funny old world.
