I searched Twitter for the Telegraph Article on men being allowed in womens hospital wards. I typed in "telegraph trans"

Oh my god the replies. The first four were "Trans women are women" "Trans women pose no threat to other women’s privacy, safety, or dignity" "Trans women pose [no more] threat to other women’s privacy, safety, or dignity [than cis women]." And it's just more of the same.

Yes of course a "cis" women is the same rape threat than a MtF Trans. These people are actually delusional.

I find myself despairing for the future if this is the level of sense out there.

Even if you accept that transwomen have the same rate of sexual offending as women, we are still stuck with the fact that there are loads of men who would happily pretend to be trans just for access. WE have single sex space as we can’t distinguish nice guys from bad ones.

( and of course , to providing support for women who have mental scars from sexual abuse)

The trouble, when the press reports what twitter says, it presents the agenda in a biased way. We know that the aggressive trans activists, the perverts, the woke, the naive et al all use twitter as their medium. But - just as Loose Women are finding out - twitter is the only place many lazy journalists go so they only report a limited view.
In fact, hundreds of thousands of women (and men) will have been sitting there going 'Yes - I don't want to share a ward with any man'. We all know (because the NHS repeatedly asks people) that men and women hate mixed sex wards. Yet twitter makes it seem as if this is not the case.

Twitter is depressing full stop. It’s a cesspool of humanity.

Twitter is like an open sewer these days.
The proportion of tweets that are predominantly incels trolling seems to be on the rise. They have nothing else going in on their empty lives.

Twitter is a carbuncle on the arse of the internet. Consistently misogynistic, unwieldy and stupid as a website idea for anything other than mindless soundbites and infested with paedophiles and other assorted perverts.

Twitter is bonkers. I’m sure 99% is gaslighting and it’s a playground for losers. I’m amazed how many people get a ban for stating bio facts or naming Them Who Should Not Be Named (waxgate)
