Most of the article covers the gender critical voices (maybe some of the same people who gave evidence late last year?), with a couple of alternative views further down. No doubt it will be badly received by the lobby

Pretty much the nub of the whole issue.

They're going to have trouble with a lot of planning etc if they stop recording how many cunty and how many dicky.

They need a sex at birth and a current gender id question and then they can see what's going on.

Perhaps they should just make the question exactly that

This is my biggest bug bear with the whole TWAW saga
It renders statistics meaningless. Crime, health, sport, military, womens role in film
All meaningless once there is no definition of woman. On a plus side we will see a drop in rates of cervical cancer
On the minus side some bright spark will suggest there is no need to screen are rates are dropping
