I know, I know - major faux paux posting a Daily Fail link, but no other sources available.

This article is ridiculous. It gives the supposed life timeline of what women do at what age, what tosh!

The only thing I have in common with it is 15 & 16 of which I had my first kiss at 15 as stated in article and lost my virginity at 16, also stated. The rest is ummm Hmm questionable to say the least.

I compared my life to my age which is to 38, not a lot in common and I'm really happy I wasn't "lucky" enough to stay with my first boyfriend 😂

If you're even considering looking at the article, please note Point 20 Angry.

I found this bit disturbing:

The average age at which a girl becomes a woman is 12 years and seven months.

Whoever decided it was appropriate to use that turn of phrase needs their head checked.

The average age at which a girl becomes a woman is 12 years and seven months.

Reminds me of that awful Neil Diamond song - "Girl, you'll be a woman soon...'

A woman's adventurous palet peaks at 22, which explains why I've suddenly started eating olives Grin

Menarche does not make a child an adult!

Oh, I don't know, it's certainly not something that males trying to appropriate the word 'woman' will ever experience, so in that makes it clear that a man will never "become a woman".

OTOH it is twee and old-fashionedly prudish. Mustn't mention women's trouble.

Sorry - but boys are starting to have sex at 15! Christ.

Doesn't match me at all - hell, I was just getting comfortable with myself at 25 - certainly wasn't a low point for sexual/body confidence!

and kids at 34 followed by a career break at 38 (because you feel able to?!?) I mean.. maybe.. but that career break is because you're burned out from the toddler years.

And granny at 49? How does that work if you had your baby at 34?

This is all such ridiculous tripe, just space filler (which is pointless on the internet)
