Yep. I work with a bunch of young, woke folks and it's quite incredible how easily ageist and anti-mother crap rolls off their tongues.

If I had a dime for how often "little old lady" is used to signify someone a bit harmless, doddery and sweet, or "mums" is used to describe someone who doesn't know how to use technology*, I'd be able to retire from my job early.

(I work in tech. Whenever I correct the "mums don't know tech" trope, they look all flustered and say, "But Pineapple, I don't mean YOU.")
