The Terf Wars, written as Orwells 1984?

Can anyone point me to this? I saved it, but it now won't open, and I can't find a link. I'm not sure if it was written by Jane Clare Jones, or some other talented woman. Surely it hasn't been wiped? That would be too ridiculous. Thanks in advance.

The link below might be the one you are thinking of, but I did bookmark another article called 'The Tranish Inquisition Clearly shows the Orwellian ...' but when I clicked on to it the page was no longer available.

Hope this helps.

Just a quick message to add.

Did you ask about puberty blockers a while ago? If so, this link might be useful.

Thanks opi, good remembering, that link will be good to read. Yup, I have The Annals of the Terf Wars ( so good), it was The Trannish Inquisition I was after. I'm gutted. (Guttered! I say!). Might have a snuffle around kiwifarms.

Yeahnahyeah Have you seen this latest article by the way from Speak Up for Women?

Should be required reading for every NZ Member of Parliament.

Thank you OldCrone. That was a very interesting article, and I was puzzled by its disappearance from my bookmarks.

From rdln.wordpress.com
“Young children may indeed change their minds, but gender identity seems to be fixed by the time kids have reached puberty. The Endocrine Society finds that transgender adolescents grow up to be transgender adults ‘100 percent of the time’. Dr. Stephen Rosenthal, director of the Child and Adolescent Gender Center at UCSF, agrees: ‘Children who meet the mental health criteria for gender dysphoria in adolescence are likely to be transgender for life.'”

The problem with this argument is that it is supported by referring to samples of adolescents who have used puberty blockers, begging the question of whether the persistence is due to an innate condition or the medical treatment itself.

This argument reminds me of one pertinent fact. Gender dysphoric teens who did not transition exist, they are homosexual adults now and are shut down time and again by transactivists who do not want to hear their stories.
Personally, I could describe my childhood and adolescence and be very sure of a dysphoria diagnosis. All the signs were there, I won't go into too much identifying detail but I am 100% convinced that if I was a child now I would be on that pathway, willingly.
As it stands I'm a healthy happy lesbian woman in early middle age with a good life. I'm incredibly grateful this wasn't available when I was a child.
