Adrian Comerford on twitter stating the following:

A man abusing gender self-id laws, to change gender for the rest of his life, just to prey on women in public toilets is the stupidest criminal plan of all time.

Who could look at this world & think that men would have to go to such extremes to abuse women?

Only a transphobe.

Only a man would say this, it is baffling when you think about abused women and the lengths men go to to hurt them, that this isn't even a consideration for him or anyone? This isn't even about being trans or arguing the gender critical side, it is the complete lack of critical thought and entitled male privilege.

A man abusing gender self-id laws, to change gender for the rest of his life,

Kind of missing the point. He doesn't need to change gender for the rest of his life - all he needs to do is put on a dress. Obviously this is why self id is so dangerous.

Nope, doesn't need to put on a dress. Self-id will require nothing other than a declaration - and predatory men will know this and know that it means a man who looks entirely like a man can enter women's spaces and not get challenged - and even if he does, he merely has to claim he's a woman.

Self id though surely requires some formal paperwork and a process of changing gender. It still takes time.

The Equality Act lets a man walk into a womans space with minimal effort.

Not to say I dont think that self id is the most ridiculous and dangerous thing imaginable.

Well, paperwork is pretty meaningless in most cases.

They wouldn't dare challenge a male in any women's space where women can walk in without proving their identity, like changing rooms and showers at pools, et cetera.

So the effort of doing that bit of paperwork only falls on those who want to take women's places in politics, etc., where everyone has to prove their identity.

It's illegal to ask to see a person's GRCertificate.
They know it. They know we know they know it.

it's not illegal to ask to see photographic id and both a passport and driving license show gender !

^you can get you gender changed on your passport or drivers licence in one phone call.

A birth certificate used to be the one and only remaining evidence that someone is trans.

absolutely not the case for passport. a passport requires supporting medical evidence.
