Interesting comments by the judge.

SophoclesTheFox · 15/12/2018 08:28

At a previous hearing, the court was told Mr Jackson's father, Peter, had used his retirement fund to help finance his son's defence costs

Raiding daddy's pension pot - keeping it classy, Paddy.

I hope he is kept awake at night wondering how he's going to pay it all back. Somehow I doubt it, though. He doesn't strike me as someone with much in the way of a conscience.

Pennydrew142 · 15/12/2018 08:45

Well that is something. They’ve got contracts elsewhere so that bastard can pay Daddy back

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 15/12/2018 09:08

yep, at least they won't be living high on the hog. that's something

Terfing · 15/12/2018 09:11

If they had won, who would have paid their costs? The victim or the taxpayer?

mikado1 · 15/12/2018 09:14

The taxpayer. The first lot of replies made me smile, despite the whole sorry thing.

Nettlescoop · 15/12/2018 22:16

Good, but still feels as if justice has not been served.

MadeForThis · 16/12/2018 11:25

The judge definitely didn't celebrate them as innocent men.
