Investigations to keep an eye on

There are a number of investigations ongoing at the moment into possibly abusive practices which have affected or could affect the rights or safety of girls and women.

Here is a list which can be added to if necessary and updated when more information becomes available.

If each of us who has concerns about the Big Lottery Fund giving half a million pounds to Mermaids Inc. (given their record of circulating discredited statistics and referring youths to an unauthorized GP) were to write [email protected] and insist on a thorough review of that unfortunate decision, a number of youths may greatly benefit.

I’m curious whether the Child Sexual Abuse enquiry will be investigating West Yorkshire Police’s complicity on a number of fronts? - as well as other police forces who have, and do, enable child sexual abuse by their withholding of action, or support and covering for perpetrators - for example, by their sanctioning of vexatious complaints against innocents / whistleblowers by vindicative, disordered minds.

Anyone know?

Over here in the USA, there are a few cases that might go to the Supreme Court. At issue is re-interpreting Title 1X protections on the basis of defining "sex" to include gender identity.

Lolsuit Queen was suggesting something about a starting court case to get an injunction to stop people misgendering them.

Apparently the report on the Green Party investigation is due to be made public in January
