The EHRC intends to publish 'guidance'. Frankly, it hasn't got a good record when it comes to 'guidance'.

As we have seen, (in the case of balancing transgender privileges with women's and girls' sex-based rights), its guidance was not rooted in the law but in the idea that the inclusion of men in the female class was a "good thing". This idea coloured their output.

Their guidance on the Equality Act tended to confuse users and misrepresent the legal position, according to expert lawyers.

Can't wait to see whether they will go for clarity this time Grin
