It's about the Maria MacLachlan assault. Apparently:

1. Maria was part of 'a network well known for its vicious cyberstalking'. In fact, she was part of a 'cyberstalking cult'.

2. The TRAs were 'at a protest voicing [their] discontent with the aforementioned cyberstalking network.'

3. The fracas began when one of the TRAs tried to push the camera away.

4. Maria responded by physically assaulting the TRA.

5. Tara intervened and gave Maria 'a single punch to the cheek'.

And here is the truth:

1. Maria is not part of a 'cyberstalking network'. She's a gender critical feminist who was trying to attend a feminist meeting.

2. TRAs were not protesting against a 'cyberstalking network'. They were trying their best to stop the feminists from meeting. This was after the feminists had originally invited the TRAs to sit down with them and discuss. TRAs got the original meeting shut down, so now the feminists were trying to hold it again, in secret. They were gathering in Hyde Park before going on to their venue.

3. The fracas began when Tara Wood tried to grab Maria's camera (not push it away) as can be seen in the video. Maria started filming the TRAs (instead of other feminists) after Tara's attempted theft.

Once she'd begun filming, the TRAs physically assaulted her and tried to grab the camera, which they eventually did (it's all in the video).

Before arriving at Hyde Park, Tara had posted online that Tara was going to 'fuck some t*rfs up'.

4. Maria defended herself against a crowd of attackers, and at one stage grappled with a woman, apparently Tara's girlfriend.

5. Tara ran in and punched Maria several times. It would have been much worse if people had dragged Tara away.

I don't understand why TRAs spread such easily disprovable lies. Do they believe them? In which case they're profoundly deluded. Or are they deliberately conning people? Which is actually much worse.

Pathology. Read around the relationship boards, look for a couple of the really loopy MiL threads for what life is like with an (actual) personality disordered narcissist. Emotion creates reality, not facts. So that they've told you something obviously disprovable, or that it contradicts what they said yesterday, means nothing because it expressed the emotion they wanted.

The Issendai blog is very helpful to get a better understanding of how this kind of mind works, and that really your only hope if you have to deal with someone of this kind is powerful, rigid boundaries or, more often, no contact of the move, change address, go unlisted and prepare for all hell to break loose when they realise you've escaped.

Bloody hell, there were a group of these little buggers oppressing poor men innocently airing their penises through the door holes in my local park toilets too when I was a kid. Kept forcing the police at skipping rope point to prosecute them too.
