Read it whilst it is up. It won't be for long.

medium.com/@williamray/the-tranish-inquisition-clearly-shows-the-orwellian-nature-of-our-electronic-agora-42883c79a180

On WordPress.com I have interviewed the man who started the R.C.M.P’s Integrated National Security Enforcement Teams. I produced a video describing him as an over reaching secret policeman.

After myself and my colleagues were repeatedly arrested and assaulted during the Montréal Police’s violent repression against their citizens, I organized a campaign involving Canadian Journalists for Free Expression and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association that resulted in Commanders of the Montréal police to be forced to a sit-down and agree under mediation by these national organizations to desist in their violence toward journalists.

have uncovered evidence of the Canadian Armed Forces and other Federal agencies practicing the violent targeting of Canadian environmental groups. I have looked into possible atrocities committed by Kurd troops trained by Canadian Special Forces. I have documented the Israeli arms industry testing drones in Québec. None of these powerful players censored me.

Then goes on to describe the taking down of blogs on Wordpress, and twitter etc etc...

Doing all this under the banner of inclusion and tolerance while practicing exactly the opposite has to be admired for its dark brilliance. Silencing people who differ with your opinion under the banner of “inclusion and tolerance”, labeling dissent as hate speech, while allowing the the most vile racism, the most outrageous calls to violence under the banner of “context” is wickedly effective. Jack is a very clever boy.

Vjuat went onto Twitter to follow him and his accounts been suspended :(

Mrstwiddle · 05/12/2018 00:05

Sorry, first word should say “Just”

KinCat · 05/12/2018 02:45

Thanks for saving the article, just reading it now. I've heard about the tampon conversation before but never seen screen shots or the other bits about being underwhelmed with the experience of the women's changing room, nakedness etc. It makes me feel physically sick.

It's very worrying how discussion of facts is being suppressed both on and off line. I don't really understand why this article was pulled? Are the screenshots fabricated?

GirlDownUnder · 05/12/2018 04:46

I tried his test:

”Type into Google... any subject with the word Transgender. Take note that most of the first page is filled with trans rights organization sites or glowing press reports.”

He’s right - even when I tried transgender againts women, first results were surprising.

So even if we said to a TRA or newbie, go look for data re our concerns with the trans agenda etc what are they going to find, and will they look past page 1?

Scary stuff.

Bittermints · 05/12/2018 06:09

Yes. Try typing into Google this search term:

Women murdered in 2017

I'll be interested to see the results.

PleasingFungusBeetle · 05/12/2018 06:27

Copied over from Reddit's gender critical forum:

William Ray's article gets removed from Medium.
Two hours later, his Twitter was suspended.

Suspensions and other actions linked to Jonathan Yaniv include these:

Suspension of GenderTrender, Wordpress
Suspension of Meghan Murphy, Twitter
Takedown of Meghan Murphy "Twitter ban" podcast, YouTube
Takedown of Peach Yogurt "Wax my Lady Balls" YouTube
Redaction of specific text: 4thWaveNow, Wordpress

Like seriously - what the fuck is going on? This is across many platforms: youtube, twitter, medium, wordpress. It must be coming from someone or something that is extremely powerful.

Do any of the lawyers around like RosaFreedman1983 have any idea of what could be going on from a legal standpoint?

LambChopsMcGee · 05/12/2018 06:45

I'm getting scared now.
How do I access the archive version?

We need the media (mainstream) to notice this story. Private Eye aren't scared of legal action...I wish the guardian would wake up. A few of their journalists are GC, including Oliver Burkeman I think from his Twitter.

This censorship is really crazy. How long do we have here on MN?!

Someone was speaking about a new social network, MeWe? To get around this stuff and stay in touch when we're all off Twitter. Does anyone use it? (Or is it stupid to ask in this forum?)

Thank you!

Bowlofbabelfish · 05/12/2018 08:34

once again, THANK YOU MNHQ for letting this debate continue here.

In the light of this, the restrictions on what we can say here seem like a canny move. Keep people polite and it’s harder to make an argument that the platform should be banned.

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 05/12/2018 08:41

yes. I rail under the restrictions placed on our speech by MNHQ, but things like this make me realise what pressure they must be under.

thank you

LambChopsMcGee · 05/12/2018 08:45

We need to make connections IRL though, I feel. If we lose MN and Twitter I'd lose all connections with the GC community. It's scary though, and difficult.

AngryAttackKittens · 05/12/2018 08:46

I very much doubt that the waxing and tampon perv and the "dominatrix" are capable of achieving that kind of silencing effect all by themselves, so for the millionth time, who is behind the curtain?

RiverTam · 05/12/2018 08:56

I googled 'women murdered in 2017'.

10 results came up on page 1.

5 were to do with trans murders.

Half. For a section of the population numbering less than 1%

They are everywhere.

andyoldlabour · 05/12/2018 09:09

Why is the mainstream media not commenting on the abusive/threatening comments on Twitter. Why is Twitter ignoring transgender people when they say things such as - "All TERFs should be shot in the head", or - "shoot a TERF today".
That is an incitement to carry out extreme violence against women.
In short, it is a hate crime.

ChewyLouie · 05/12/2018 09:13

Is there any alternative to Twitter that women can actively promote, then Twitter and their misogynistic silencing can twat off!

AngryAttackKittens · 05/12/2018 09:13

Because Twitter, and other social media companies, have lots of transwomen employees, a significant proportion of whom think that stuff is fine, and those employees are being allowed to set policy for those companies.

ahagwearsapointybonnet · 05/12/2018 09:26

I was daydreaming the other day about how fab it would be if we could persuade MN to create something similar to Twitter but woman-centred. Open to everyone, but with decent rules and moderation, so no porn, dick pics or sexist abuse, but free speech on issues affecting women. I couldn't think who else would be in a position to do something like that!

crsacre · 05/12/2018 10:31

Interview with William Ray by Benjamin Boyce:

Boyce is a libertarianish American; he's also recently interviewed Meghan Murphy.

Bittermints · 05/12/2018 10:49

That's interesting, RiverTam. There was a thread about that last year or earlier this year and the results were very similar. I know Google searches are skewed by what else you look for and I suspect if you asked about the UK specifically you might get a different answer, but IIRC a wide range of MN users got very similar results to what you've just seen, indicating that somebody techy is working hard in some way that's beyond my comprehension - search optimisation? Something that gets your preferred hits pushed up to page one of the Google results, anyway. Worrying.

sackrifice · 05/12/2018 11:00

That is an incitement to carry out extreme violence against women. In short, it is a hate crime.

Many people and institutions have taken 'sex' out of their protected characteristics so that violence and threats against women are not a hate crime.

Just for comparison: "women murdered in 2017" got me 4/10 hits on first page about trans using google.com but only 2/10 using bing.com

ChewyLouie · 05/12/2018 12:16

Bye google, hello bing.

RiverTam · 05/12/2018 12:40

duck duck go gives 3 out of 9 results as trans

Datun · 05/12/2018 12:56

Whether that was the intention or not, I believe it is the result. It would be nice to think it was the intention.
