A man living as a woman is no less likely to sexually offend than a man living as a man

(Apart from the obvious wtf even is living as a woman)

Collective MN wisdom Are there stats available that you may have seen or can link to because this is very much addling my mind atm.

Except that they will argue that they are not men living as women, but are women.

Again that is a statement going against all scientific knowledge to date and so the onus is on them to prove that. Until that point, they remain the subset of men.

TRAs use the ‘gish gallop’ technique a lot. But when you make outlandish claims you need to prove them - it’s not up to us to reprove the whole of biology.

I thought the MoJ figures released after FP did their report showed that just over half of TIM prisoners were sex offenders, which means that a TIM is much, much more likely to be a sex offender than men in general (I believe out of approx 90,000 male prisoners, about 12,000 are sex offenders).

Could be wrong, haven’t got the figures to hand but that’s my recollection.
