Interesting results. Bit startling how people under 25 are much more likely than everyone else to think a person with a penis can be a woman, and that denying this is a hate crime.

FWRLurker · 20/11/2018 21:10

Thanks. This is great.

It should be relatively easy to do a downsampling analysis to equalize the numbers in each group, in order to separate the impact of sex and age of respondents.

Mxyzptlk · 20/11/2018 21:19

I think people under 25 are less likely to have given thought to the behaviour of predatory men, and more likely to want to be open and accepting of everyone without realising the possible consequences.

Dragon3 · 20/11/2018 21:21

Very interesting. And heartening.

OvaHere · 20/11/2018 21:27

Yes I was just going to post what Mxyzptlk said.

I don't believe most of those in that age group do believe it literally they just don't want to be accused of wrong think.

Original thread about the crowdfund to create this poll, including some great extra analysis by Red.
