It's on right now, sorry if theres a thread couldn't find it.

I can't believe that woman doing the phone in session just recommended Mermaids!

I would love to phone in to remind her that Susie Green is a woman who thought her 18 month old BABY was transgender, who obtained drugs for her child illegally and then flew her child to Thailand for sex reassignment surgery on their 16th Birthday because it was illegal in the U.K. (and coincidentally it's not illegal in Thailand)

Susie Green shouldn't be allowed anywhere NEAR children, and neither should Mermaids

The public haven't bought into the nonsense.

The woman offering advice gets really angry like many Trans activists when heretics won't play along.

FuriousFifties · 19/11/2018 11:48

Just don't even know where to begin, how can anyone say that young people are not affected by trends?

Just switched on and was starting a thread when I found this.

I found the suggested referral to Tavistock for a 5 year old very worrying. They seem to want to diagnose and conclude so quickly. Why can't the child just be?

A few parents raising the issue of believing their kids are following a trend though and being influenced by others.

VerbeenaBeeks · 19/11/2018 11:50

I didn't see any anger? She basically said keep the lines of communication open, be there for your child.
Sounded pretty sensible advice.

SkinnyTrinny · 19/11/2018 11:51

The woman offering advice appears to be a narcissist - she's spent time learning about the new religion, she earns virtue cookies from the Guardian for following the religion, she gets to look smug, right and be trendy whilst earning ££££, no wonder she is angry at people who don't agree with her narcissistic view of herself and her advice/ideology.

SkinnyTrinny · 19/11/2018 11:53

I didn't see any anger?

If people didn't agree with her, despite the botox, you could see her frowning at them.

NoseringGirl · 19/11/2018 12:09

I thought her telling the worried Mother about the risks of self harm and suicide for not completely affirming her child's non binary identity we're really worrying. She also completely ignored the Mother's concerns about peer pressure (the child's entire group of friends were non binary).

papayasareyum · 19/11/2018 12:10

who is doing the phone in? A psychologist, an agony aunt?

SkinnyTrinny · 19/11/2018 12:12

who is doing the phone in? A psychologist, an agony aunt?

An example of an education system that values a good memory and ability to repeat information whilst thinking they are right and superior to others.

That woman giving advice is really irresponsible, it’s a fucking disgrace!

RubyViolet · 19/11/2018 13:30

Being discussed now on This Mornings Facebook page, parents are seeing through this.

SirVixofVixHall · 19/11/2018 18:29

Yes she was giving terrible advice. I’m laughing at “frowning through the Botox” so true. She was getting stroppy and closing down any other view than hers. Pretty strange. Mermaids ffs !
I felt very sorry for the worried people calling in, although transing a five year old is stupidity, let’s face it.
