Oh that’s good.
is the writer one of the sterling women on here I wonder?

nauticant · 27/10/2018 12:56

Women are not menstruating because they wear pink, they menstruate because of the sex of their body.

FermatsTheorem · 27/10/2018 13:07

I love this bit.

Why should gender neutrality in any way implicate women as arbiters between men when it is men who need to sit down and discuss amongst themselves why some of them are intolerant of non-masculine males in their toilettes, showers, and other intimate spaces? Because of the unspoken and underlying presumption that women are easier to bully and manipulate, women have been saddled in sorting out the men’s “sock drawer.”

This is (to me) a new way of looking at the appropriation of intersex conditions to score debating points:

A parallel to this type of logical fallacy in political economy would be to analyze the wealth of the .018% and declare that poverty is over concluding that this means that everyone is opulently wealthy.

Great piece. Covers so many of the issues.

Needmoresleep · 27/10/2018 13:35

The author/magazine owes MN a donation. The material seems entirely culled from FWR. None the worse for that!

AspieAndProud · 27/10/2018 13:46

I think most of us here are ‘socialist’ regarding our ‘intellectual property’ so if anyone wants to borrow our arguments (or even jokes) they are welcome to them.

Mumminmum · 27/10/2018 13:52

I have shared the article on Facebook.

BlackShutters · 27/10/2018 14:04

That is a great article. The author has been an out and proud gender critical feminist for a few years at least. I've seen her pieces on Feminist Current.

I'm fairly sure that JV is a regular reader of mn, if not a poster herself
