I concur that there is likely (we are already seeing it) to be some sort of pushback against Posie, all the more reason to adopt a belt and braces approach and ensure all of our ducks are in a row, this will avoid arming the inevitable critics in the future.

I have first hand experience of the cruel and exploitative nature of this specific industry and understand that it can be hard to avoid being part of the problem as opposed to being part of the solution.

I would ask the same question (and regularly do) of anyone mass producing such merchandise - we shouldn’t overlook one injustice to support another.

I will also question where the majority of money disappears to with charitable donations, I find it disgusting the amount that is wasted in over the top CEO salaries and lavish office space when this money could and should be put to better use. In my experience all end up guilty of this eventually, from Cancer Research UK to Oxfam and very likely to TRA organisations. You may be happy with this practice of siphoning off money from honest charitable donations, I however am not

Really? While I am totally good with challenging exploitation, the comparison of Posie to a massively salaried charity CEO siphoning off funds is bloody barking.

You could contact Posie about the ethics of the companies she is using which would probably be more likely to effect a useful change if that is your passion.

Or you could post here and come across as either a really earnest and dim hippy or yet another critic with plenty to gripe about but nothing much to positively add.

I think £30 for a hoody is pretty reasonable, but I could probably get one from Asda for less. Maybe go and ask Asda about their supply chain as well. I’m sure they shift a lot more kit than Posie.
