Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Does it make sense to talk to people who cannot define the words they use?

This is a thought that has crossed my mind again and again in the past couple of months. Pretty much all the non-productive discussions I have had seem to have a common theme: one of the discussion partners uses words without being able to define them.

But when someone cannot even say, what they talk about, what point of listening to them is there, really? Is it even possible for someone to talk about something they cannot define, without being kafkaesque?

If you can’t agree on basic definitions of words, then you can’t really have a productive discussion at all.

Yeah, that is what it boils down to, for me, too.
