Some of the responses on that thread were . I always find it mind-boggling when someone thinks that the way to confirm dodgy stats as "real" is to link to a Guardian article quoting those stats!

I remind myself that the only confirmed stats are for the actual child suicides, not attempts. Every single one is a tragedy. But there cannot be more trans child suicides than total child suicides, and that total number is under 200 a year.

I've just done my complaint to Ofcom about the portrayal of self harm on Butterfly. It made a total mockery of Samaritans guidelines & was fucking irresponsible.
