Just to check, if you subscribe to the mail chimp list, 2nd choice in the OP's post does that mean a response will be submitted on your behalf, listing the FairPlay 4 Women responses?

Datun · 14/10/2018 10:10

Excellent. Thanks Nic.

The tide is turning.

This is really important to be clear about. Can you answer @DoctorW ? I think you need a clear brief wording at the top of those links to make sure people know what will happen when they fill out the form.

Poppyred85 · 14/10/2018 10:15

I don’t want to derail but just wanted to check the template style reply you’ve made (which is great) will be as valid as individually created responses? Thanks

DoctorW · 14/10/2018 10:19

The alternative mail chimp method will send YOU an email with pre-filled answers. YOU then have forward this email to the government.

We have confirmed with Government Equalities Office that these pre-filled responses WILL BE ACCEPTED

Got it, and sent on the email. Glad that they will be accepted.

breastfeedingclownfish · 14/10/2018 10:25

Nicola
I have sent to a PM.

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 14/10/2018 10:47

thanks for this

used your excellent guidance booklet to complete my response last night

qumquat · 14/10/2018 10:51

I am really worried that pre -written responses that are all the same will be dismissed as spam. Do government consultations have a policy on this?

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 14/10/2018 10:53

@DoctorW Can't you post and pin this on your Facebook page and twitter too please?

Datun · 14/10/2018 11:04

qumquat

They won't be. Nic double checked.

Many other organisations are doing the same.

I agree, to me, it makes it less 'pure". But it's still vital to complete it.

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 14/10/2018 11:18

if you're worried qumquat then you could tweak the responses?

shows you have read through them and understood them

Redkeyboard · 14/10/2018 11:24

The alternative mail chimp method will send YOU an email with pre-filled answers. YOU then have forward this email to the government.

That’s great but not currently clear for those who click on the link that just shows a form asking for your details. Can the wording be added there too to avoid confusion?

OvaHere · 14/10/2018 11:38

Bump

loveyouradvice · 14/10/2018 11:52

agree not clear - can someone pm doctorw on this? i cant cos injured dog n typing one handed

Redkeyboard · 14/10/2018 11:53

@DoctorW

scotsheather · 14/10/2018 15:27

I was worried as well. If they get a load of identical or very similar responses they might weed them out as duplicates or spam. I hope what you have confirmed is true.

I've done it already. My own views but I expect widely shared.

Marisa444 · 14/10/2018 15:46

Delurking to make my 1st post. I have submitted the consultation.

Thank you

PoliticallyHomeless · 14/10/2018 15:49

When I tried to access the site via Virgin Media I got blocked but can get to it on my phone via EE mobile data.

Very fishy- I have logged a call with Virgin Media to see what they come back with. If they have blocked it I will be cancelling my account.

In the meantime I found a link via VPN Proxy. Going to complete it before that gets taken down too!

AlexaShutUp · 14/10/2018 16:00

I was also unable to access the site via our Virgin Media wifi connection. However, I have submitted via my phone instead. Thanks all for making this so easy - I wanted to respond to the consultation but probably wouldn't have found the time otherwise.

Oldstyle · 14/10/2018 16:18

Another option to access the FPfW site:
If you are having problems submitting our 1-click consultation response please us this link instead. Will take you directly to our submission form. fairplayforwomen.co.uk

Redshoeblueshoe · 14/10/2018 18:16

My internet provider is Virgin, no problems submitting it

FingonTheValiant · 14/10/2018 19:42

Done by me, DH and DS1

FingonTheValiant · 14/10/2018 19:42
