This comment. Woot. And the Paul Keating quote.
“In the meantime, gender studies and its transgen evangelists get away with mangling our gender culture through the sort of ‘network marketing’ that has gone on in the Girl Guides. It used to be called subversive colonization. And as with any subversion, it is not enough to merely try to fend it off. We have to go after it like Bronwyn and Isla are doing, because if we don’t, they will be all over us like a rash. Marketing is all about ‘initiative’, and the party that has that is running the agenda.
These lobbies exploit the language of equality, ‘discrimination’ and ‘inclusivity’ to bluff, fudge and crib their way past the critical faculties of increasingly mystified and bamboozled mass constituencies. And they get away with it because they have mastered the tobacco lobby obfuscation and manipulation handbook. It is now the standard communications methodology inside the almost entirely privatised and corporatised system of totalitarian discourse, that alters reasoning into marketed slogans, keywords, euphemisms, dysphemisms and stereotypes and then populates them with authoritative sounding spruikers throughout the architecture of media influence, to create the illusion of a ‘new wave’ of popular opinion.
You keep hearing about transgen ‘issues’ as if they were spontaneous irruptions out of the culture, when in fact what is really happening is the roll out of a co-ordinated Public Relations campaign run by an ‘unrepresentative swill’ of aggressive ‘activists’.
