Politically homeless like many here and feeling immensely frustrated by it.

How much are WEP dominated by TW? Is it worth joining and trying to influence ?

THere have been a couple of recent threads discussing this, worth looking for and perhaps bumping and/or linking to this.

Any and all parties are worth joining to try to influence IMO.

Redkeyboard · 10/10/2018 18:39

Assuming they match your other values, politically.

Sophie walker definitely gets it. She's not sticking her neck all the way on the block but she's absolutely gender critical. I have hopes.

Thanks Rowantrees I've been around this board a little while (NC regularly and end up choosing just a few topics to follow at anyone time) but haven't really used the search function before

Interesting thread here on WEP debating self id at their conference in September www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3325882-WEP-conference-questions-for-panel-of-trans-rights-advocating-barristers

One of the WEP founders (who judging by twitter is firmly self ID) is asking for people (priority to WEP members) to come and speak in a "conciousness raising" group. "The purpose of the session is not debate, nor agreement. The purpose of the session is to listen."

In case anyone is interested feministethics.blog/2018/10/09/raising-our-consciousness/
