Oh dear Glamour. I take it it doesn’t mention she is under investigation by the GMC?

AnyFucker · 06/10/2018 11:21

Some women have penises and some men have vaginas

Do fuck off.

How embarassing for Glamour "magazine"

HandsOffMyRights · 06/10/2018 11:21

You can’t hurt a child by allowing them to explore their gender
Children should be allowed to explore their world and their bodies with the freedom that perhaps only childhood allows. If your child wants to experiment with clothes, makeup, names, hairstyles, pronouns (he/she/they), this will not force them towards any type of gender identity. Let them explore in a safe environment and their passage through their teenage years will be more comfortable.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Loads of helpful tips such as: "Just because you choose to wear trousers, doesn’t necessarily make you a man."

What a relief. As someone who wears trousers every day, I'd started to worry that I was, actually, a man.

HandsOffMyRights · 06/10/2018 11:24

Hack, reminds me of GI's advice to transitioning boy to girl "A tight fitting T-shirt is good if you have the figure for it"

Oh for heavens sake.

NotANotMan · 06/10/2018 11:29

Have glamour been informed that Dr webberley has been found guilty of misconduct?

Belonger · 06/10/2018 11:30

Have they removed webberleys name?

Belonger · 06/10/2018 11:30

Ignore me, just saw it

RealGhouls · 06/10/2018 11:31

Don't you think that there should be some mention of the fact Dr Helen is a convicted criminal?

UpstartCrow · 06/10/2018 11:32

Personally, I think its less the trousers that make you a man, and more the penis.

Elephantinacravat · 06/10/2018 11:34

Oh no, how embarrassing.

Mind you let's not forget these were the people who made Caitlyn 'the most difficulty thing about being a woman' Jenner 'woman of the year'.

RedToothBrush · 06/10/2018 11:34

It's not a fashion.

Except when its being promoted as a fashion.

RepealtheGRA · 06/10/2018 11:36

I think glamour magazine have confused ‘fact’ with ‘opinion’. Is this not something that is usually covered at primary level?

I no longer buy ANY women’s magazines in case I inadvertently finance TWAW propaganda.

I’ve moved over to knitting, gardening and home decor magazines maybe I’m just getting old

Datun · 06/10/2018 11:36

Dear God. Do they not know that she has just been successfully prosecuted for illegally drugging children?

Does no one, ever, ever google a person before they allow them representation???

AngryAttackKittens · 06/10/2018 11:38

When there's a lie in the very first sentence that's never a good sign.

While for many, the concept of gender variance may be relatively new, transgender people have always been a deep-rooted part of our society.

Also, could Glamour not have found someone not under investigation for breaking the law to quote?

TwistedStitch · 06/10/2018 11:42

Not if they mention 'trans' Datun. It gives people a magic shield, no due diligence required.

Belonger · 06/10/2018 11:47

We'd better let them know about the conviction of their expert

Elephantinacravat · 06/10/2018 11:53

I have emailed them. I don't know if this is the right email but it's online editorial enquiries:

[email protected]

So Glamour magazine have featured convicted child-drugger Helen Webberly in a positive light, then, right? How embarrassing for them.

Wineloffa · 06/10/2018 13:16

What a load of shit.

How embarrassing for Glamour profiling a convicted criminal.

SPOFS · 06/10/2018 13:22

Trans people deserve so much better than this shite. Sad

Some celeb doctors, such as Dr Ranj, have managed to support trans rights whilst not resorting to dangerous stereotypes and women-hating. Why not give this job to someone like him?

R0wantrees · 06/10/2018 13:22

current thread following Helen Webberley been found guilty of providing an unregistered online medical clinic. She'll be sentenced next month.
