I am just back from a meeting with my (Conservative) MP. Was all set to work hard to set out the gender critical argument and have him toe the party line, but he totally and utterly got it without me having to say anything!

He hadn’t heard about some of the recent issues (WPUK in Leeds, Jacinta Brookes etc) but actively wanted to hear more and asked me to send him the articles.

A voice of sanity amid the madness- thank goodness!

Should also say a huge thank you to everyone who posted links and guidance for people meeting their MP- I felt much more confident that I was going in fully armed, and the SAGE fact sheet was the perfect thing to leave with him at the end of the meeting

Yay brilliant! I am still waiting to hear back from my conservative M.P. And councillor that I contcated. Not massively impressed. However I have heard back from a neighbouring councillor who gets it which is great.

I got an email back from my MP today. Took a week, but I suppose there has been the Tory conference this week.
Says they understand the sensitivities, and will pass my comments on (anonymously) to Penny Mordaunt. It's hard to tell but I think the tone was sympathetic.

My female Labour MP is an idiot. I have had no acknowledgment of my 3 emails and one letter. Not voting Labour for the foreseeable future
