Yes and probably wouldn't have been written without the Billboard.

Some sound debate in the comments there.

Great article

Good article and comments.
As to why the state is pushing this, well that's the million dollar question really. That is the most frustrating part of it. It's like continually banging yourhead against a brick wall. We know that the general public don't support it, there is mounting evidence that self ID really isn't a very good idea, yet the state continues to ignore all that and support it. Why?

IAMcorbyndallas · 30/09/2018 12:28

....good article and I note in the comments another Dr who preaches against scientific fact!

nauticant · 30/09/2018 13:23

I was just coming to say the same. Anyone interested in this issue really should read the opposing comments from Dr Douglas McKenzie and Charlie Noack. Who would want to have that doctor for their treatment?

Etino · 30/09/2018 13:25

Because any push back, including from politicians is seen as hatefilled. And no one wants to be on the wrong side of history. SadAngry

That isn't true though, at least not any longer. Pushback is now the majority position, and most people see it as common sense. Politicians are now starting to actively go against the wishes of the electorate, and I have to wonder why.

I don’t think the Doctor who is commenting is a medical doctor thankfully.

I just cannot fathom how dismantling safeguarding can be seen by anyone who isn't set to directly benefit from the action as 'the right side of history'.
