When one girl a day is raped in school. 60% of girls report sexual harassment. And 25% of girls are too afraid to even speak in class, for fear they will be targeted.

So who is doing all this, Susie? The tooth fairy?

No one is saying all transgirls are rapists, no one. I will say they don't understand boundaries, though.

But there are an awful lot of boys, just like there are an awful lot of men, who are sexually targeting girls.

Quite apart from not allowing them access to these girls, these girls are already exposed to trauma. They are already in dire need of a female only space.

I dont even understand why they need to so this. Scouts is mixed sex. So any child confused about their gender identity would be better there.

The acknowledged plan has always been to achieve this very quietly, behind the backs of the general public, so by the time they realise and kick off about it it's a done deal and enshrined in law. The general public knowing about it is a disaster, it gives them time and information to do things like express a democratic opinion or to mention their rights, or to put opposing points of view to law makers. Whittle would much rather they didn't. I would imagine the trans activists are pretty cross with GGUK for not waiting until 20 October to expel Helen.

TerfedOff - basically - because why the fuck should girls be allowed to have / do things for themselves, that some boys want to do? Why the fuck should boys who would rather be with the girls doing whatever, and for whatever reason, be excluded? It's sexist. And mean. The purpose of girls and women is to be whatever men/boys want them to be and do whatever men /boys want them to do. The interview was recorded about an hour before it went out (I've been in the famous radio 4 radio car!) which is why there was no direct interaction. I had no idea that Susie Green would be my "opponent", they didn't tell me beforehand.

I think it worked well. I'm really not interested in getting into a bun fight on air. I am raising serious safeguarding and governance concerns around a sensitive and divisive issue. This isn't filler material for a magazine show, or entertainment. By being interviewed separately on heavyweight news programmes I've been better able to make my point.

Shame the GG or indeed any other child protection or safeguarding charity won't speak publicly. This isn't really a trans issue after all, it's about girls rights.

If so, Are you able to ask them to request an interview with the Guides too? And let them know how important it is that the Guides' voice is heard so that they can reassure the however million girls it is that they have thought this through and explain their impact assessment.... or not! At the very least, this would mean journalists could report tht the Girl Guides refused to discuss this issue which they found very disturbing. Of course you may already be doing this in which case Im sorry: you are in the enviable position of journalists listening to you and wanting a story - and building those friendships/relationships which mean they might listen to you about what else to write about

When it comes down to it, it’s a really simple issue. There are obvious safeguarding reasons why you don’t allow teenage boys to share a tent with teenage girls. You don’t need to spell them out. The only reason a dispute arises is because people like Susie Green are pretending that some teenage boys are really girls.

I didn’t understand SG’s insistence that one groups right shouldn’t be over ridden by another groups - surely that goes equally for trans rights trampling over women/girls rights.

It doesn't make any sense IKEA. She wants transgirl rights to supersede girls' rights. There is no way that the current policy balances rights.

It's the privilege thing. This quote about trans people can't rape - it looks insane. But the ideology sees trans people as so oppressed that it is society's job to prioritise them above everything like normal standards and regulations, and above all other people - as we see, sod harming girls and women, sod excluding faith groups, using disabled facilities, the very act of questioning it is seen as transphobia. I was baffled for years why a trans member of a group I ran went apeshit at me for transphobia because I asked them not to do something against the rules of the group. They said flat out that they should have been a special exemption - which I didn't get at all. But when you see it through this madly distorted lens, it makes sense. Unfortunately for the ideology the bottom line is no. Trans people cannot be more important than everyone else, they cannot be exempted from law and standard regulations (free all trans prisoners), they cannot have extraordinary rights that no one else has and that actively remove rights from others. Particularly when these extraordinary rights are expected to be extended unconditionally to any person who requests them, some of whom at the highest levels of this movement are demonstrating that they are motivated by their personal paraphilias, sexual offending, extreme hatred of and a desire to subjugate women, incel beliefs and MRA activism to name just a few. Harming women and children as a means of redressing perceived disadvantage - and its interesting that the loudest voices here are from predominantly white, middle class, highly educated and privileged men - is not an acceptable proposition. And yes, women do get a say.

I think that needs its own thread knicknack. It is a horrifying attitude. I guess it might be the view of one deranged %*#+& (I can't think of a suitable/non-ban-worthy noun) rather than a widespread view. But I wouldn't like to bank on it.

It's not just a one-off individual, it's a view I've seen elsewhere. This is a very illuminating blog from an ex-transman which includes accounts of rape and violence within the transactivist/queer community.

There is someone (transwoman) who got invited to speak at one of the womens marches in USA who wrote themselves about how they had vaginally raped a transman with their penis with the intent of causing pregnancy.

The attitude to sexual abuse / assault of cunty people by dicky people continues as usual (poor me, I was confused, she made me do it, I couldn't help it, i deserve sympathy etc etc)
