Men are not the least bit qualified to have any opinion of/about women. We have to stop asking these dudes, "What is a woman then?" How...would they know? Let them explain what a man is and how they are pretending to 'identify' out of that reality.

Is it useful to reverse the question? I know we've sometimes wondered why Drummond doesn't seek to expand the meaning of what it is to be a man rather than a woman.

Would this be too hard because some people would need to acknowledge that they're attempting to identify out of toxic masculinity while retaining the privileges?

NB - I like that Dr Fond of Beetles' banner has the Data Lounge comment that was mentioned here a while back.

Men cannot know what it is to be a woman, and they know this! Transactivists are no better than blackface performers! It's a PARODY, a STEREOTYPE, of a woman that they try to push. It's sickening and they should be ridiculed for it, not supported! If you support this movement you are, quite literally, supporting sexism in its purest form and to think otherwise makes you quite deluded!

I replied to that tweet too, I'm felicity. I've stayed too quiet about this for too long and I'm not going to anymore. Too many women are letting these bullies ruin what little rights we have gained for ourselves over 100 years - and they are eroding it in only a FEW YEARS.

The rights of a small group of people (less than 1%) is now being PUSHED and overwriting the rights of women; no ones' rights should be gained at the expense of another. sorry for the rant

I was struck by this yesterday on the Liverpool Council thread.

A bunch of men issuing a dictat that men are women, no debate. To women.

Men of the council deciding that the question of who is and who isn't a woman has been settled by them, the men.
Men, in consultation with their brothers-who-identify, telling women they've decided what women are.

I keep trying to find the magic combination of words that perfectly illustrate the outrageousness of this, and apparently I keep failing.

It takes my breath away sometimes.

It is breathtaking that the men who do this have the confidence to debate these with no consideration of the impact on women or even awareness that it massively affects a group that is not them.

When do they not centre themselves?
