Vicky, equity is not a slogan on a cereal packet. It is sharing the domestic crap from day one regardless of the hit on your social life or career and not expecting your wife or partner to do it because she is female. When men do that as a matter of course, and men are making 50% of the domestic buying decisions, then this question will not even arise. But nope, easier to upend cereal in a supermarket aisle than years of domestic slog.

Women lose out financially and in terms of leisure time because they do much more of the domestic stuff from the year dot. Women do not have equality. Equality is not a slogan on a cereal packet.

Vicky, Vicky, if you seriously think that these "protests" are about men wanting "equility" then you probably need to give your head a wobble.

BettyDuMonde · 06/09/2018 10:29

Why don’t they rename as ‘Parents4Justice’ then?

Follow Kellogg’s example...

Ooforfoxsakeridesagain · 06/09/2018 10:35

He could have just tweeted Kellogg’s 🙄

MsBeee · 06/09/2018 10:40

Want equality with women, they can have it. How about the wage gap. Yes boys all yours, take a wage cut.
How about a bit of male genital mutilation, all yours boys.
Any other offers to the boys:

UpstartCrow · 06/09/2018 10:44

Is this is the most serious thing that men wanting equality and justice can think to campaign for? Imagine life being this easy.

Matt O Conner is a complete loon. The nail in his coffin in my opinion was the pathetic stunt he pulled with the knitted balls. It completely backfired & he made a total arse of himself & F4J. First he was fighting for a cause which I applaud. Now it's a mockery.

HelenaDove · 06/09/2018 21:15

Knitted balls???

Well they are right it is sexist... and I find this strangely relaxing (though agree their demo very antisocial).... that they are protesting about "gender stereotypes" which feels wonderfully old-fashioned (and to be welcomed) in a world where the TRAs are trying to embed gender stereotypes in the most regressive way imaginable....

user1510568216 · 07/09/2018 08:29

@HelenaDove he appeared on ITV breakfast & announced he was going to get his balls out on live tv. Cue everyone panicking & telling him he can't do that & to calm down. He then proceeded to put his hand down his trousers & pull out a set of knitted balls. He came across as a complete half wit.

WhereDoWeBeginToCovetClarice · 07/09/2018 12:48

No wonder his wife left him.

HelenaDove · 07/09/2018 14:48

Fuck F4J are thick, they’ve linked to this thread on twitter!

AngryAttackKittens · 09/09/2018 17:09

Maybe they secretly enjoy being mocked and humiliated.

IAmLurkacus · 09/09/2018 17:22

Eww!!!

BareBelliedSneetch · 09/09/2018 17:30

That’s possibly the most pitiful thing I have ever seen Sad

Iscreamforbenandjerrys · 09/09/2018 17:38

Makes you want to wash your hands doesn't it lol Grin

uthikoloshe · 09/09/2018 18:06

Is it only idiots who mount protests? Or is it a concious decision to generate clicks?
