All over the papers when I was just at the garage right now. Statement is that she’s “not proud but not ashamed” and it was during “dark days” when she was “lost and lonely and looking for something” (oh well that makes it ok then!)
A quick google and comments online seem to mostly be dismissive of her as attention seeking (its in the papers because she’s published a book where she talks about it) or criticising that if it’s not ok for a man to buy sex then why is it for a woman (well.... it isn’t).
Munro’s Bergdorf has leapt to her defence on Twitter, claiming it’s about stigmatising sex workers (nope) and a gross invasion of privacy (nope - she’s published a book about it!).
Didn’t see a thread about it yet so thought I’d start one. I’m pretty surprised she seems to think this is an acceptable thing to publicise.
