This is not having a go at the topics, I applaud everyone and all their actions, I am just fed up to the back teeth of cocks! Because the TRA are obsessed with them, getting them out, photographing them, calling them female. So every topic always comes back to penis. It's wall to wall phallus. I can't wait for the day when I can stop discussing/thinking about/viewing/listening to penis-related things.

Me too. However having spent yesterday making homemade 'women don't have penises' stickers with my DD she's thinking it's hilarious that this is how we now do arts and crafts during the school hols. We used to make greetings cards for the family, hearts, flowers, cats, puppies, meaningful messages....now we draw penises. She loves it, she gets it, she feels connected to girls and women.

It's not how I thought we'd spend her teenage years but it has given us an opportunity to talk about a lot of difficult stuff and shown her that her voice is just as important as anyone else's. So, positive in unexpected ways.

Slight diversion but, talking to women recently, a woman with many trans friends secretly went to one of the A Woman's Place meetings. She said she felt like she was letting her trans friends down badly by even attending such a meeting. She came out after the meeting asking herself why her trans friends had let her down so badly. NameChanged yes me too! The first mention wasn't too problematic but it seems to need saying over and over again since the words 'man/woman' and 'male/female' are no longer precise enough. Yep, although it's not a word that comes up in real life very often, only really on here. Talking about it/discussing it/writing about it all though simply gives it oxygen. It just needs to die a death and disappear as a subject. Women with dicks? Fuxache. Whatever next.

We're not allowed to assume woman means a person with xx chromosomes any more though. Think up an alternative way of making the distinction then, if you can. I'd happily use a good, clear and obviously understandable alternative.

It’s the insidious infiltration of be-penised people into women’s spaces and issues. I want to be able to discuss and fight for women’s rights and issues that affect women and girls without being constantly asked to pander to penis-bearers. I don’t think it’s fair to accuse gender critical feminists of being ‘obsessed with penises’. We wouldn’t have to be if they weren’t inserting themselves in places without consent (pun intended!)

You clearly haven't seen the mountains of transwomen's tweets, blogs, posts about their 'lady penises', then.

But keep on sticking your head in the sand, because if self-id comes in, you'll be seeing plenty of them in women's spaces.
