What is America parodies woke bros

Not very good at starting threads, but I need some light relief from Twitter and I'm curious to know if others have seen 'Who is America'?

Anybody who is GC will be nodding furiously at a woke character in Sacha Baren Cohen's new show 'What is America' on All 4.

In the show, SBC has crafted the ultimate woke bro character. A middle aged white guy who is so right on that he actually offends everybody by default.

SBC has absolutely perfected this and clearly gets the absurdity of self id.

In episode 1 he refers to himself as a c/$ male

In episode 3 says he supports all 23 genders

Episode 4 - he cannot say his wife is a biological woman as he is so woke. He says "she ids as female" and goes on to describe a vagina, breasts, without saying she is a woman.

Not watched ep 5 yet.

In each show SBC parodies wokeness to perfection.

There are some very serious themes where he exposes others in favour of US gun laws, immigration, pornography etc.

Scary because it's all going on right now.

My post was a tad repetitive...

I've only seen the trailers and the overwhelmingly positive comments on Twitter.

Yeh, woke bro doesn't believe in any sanitary products for his menstruating daughter either.

There's a good scene where SBC calls out a politican who has tried to wriggle out of having sex with a minor.

SBC shines a light on the grim realities in his typical style.
