Is this the same case that was discussed a couple of months ago?

I would have thought that there is plenty of room for challenging the ruling, if the government were so inclined.

The bottom line is that the applicant did not fulfill basic criteria - a gender recognition certificate, a new birth certificate as "female" and a marriage annulment.
