Lobsters are low-key kinda trans, they are gynandromorphic (can have both male and female characteristics)

This is important because:

Every year the trans flag is one of the most requested emojis

For unicode to ignore our community is almost like a form of erasure and stinks of transphobia, they see the proposals every year, they know its been the most requested emoji the last couple of years

The new campaign, Claws Out For Trans, is encouraging people to sign its petition and use the lobster emoji

I got in trouble as a teenager because I tried to set the lobsters free that were on that night’s menu at the restaurant I washed up in.

I, for one, think lobster is delicious. Freshly steamed, melted butter...yeah. Nice glass of rose. Mmm....my mouth is watering.

Lobsters are normally male or female, only occasionally does gynandromorphy occur, it's a genetic abnormality. I suspect the trans community are being trolled, lobster's are rather well known for some curious anatomy and communication relating to urine.

Potentially unrelated point, but girl lobsters taste much nicer than boy lobsters....
