I made the list this year....

About a week ago I was added to a particularly pleasant twitter list "Die cunt". My first list - yay! Today I noticed someone I've had no contact with ever has blocked me. So presumably I'm on a block list too. I feel so proud. Does anyone know how I can find out any lists in on? Pure nosiness.

So what fun lists has anyone else made? I feel I ought to get a badge or something....

Weird...mimmymum had blocked me but no longer! I assume I've dropped off some list rather than she has manually unblocked me Confused I've never had any dealings with her.

Maybe the 'die cunt' thing is a friendly piece of performance art, like posing with a baseball bat and an aggressive tattoo. We shouldn't see it as an offensive threatening action, but appreciate the commentary on how oppressed those who made the list are.

How to find out if you are on a list

Click your avatar icon at the top right of the page
Click 'Lists' from the drop down list.
Click the 'Member of' tab

If you dont want to be on a list, block the person who made it.

There has been suggestion/discussion about including misogyny/sexism within hate speech categories.

There is a current consultation running for the APPG which has now been extended until August 15th.

Noting that one of the meanings of 'die' is 'A device for cutting or moulding metal into a particular shape.', maybe the phrase is applied to, er, exceptionally muscular women?

The BBC had an article on Nottinghamshire police's trial of misogyny being a hate crime. I remember the results were described as shocking. I'll hunt it out.
