I wonder how many schools are actually using any of the information that groups like Mermaids and Transgender Trend produce? They have to be so careful so you wonder if they would use any information that's clearly from one side of the argument. Is there some more middle of the road official guidance that they tend to use relating to kids who are supposedly experiencing GD?

I agree. The real problem here is that the Department of Education has left a vacuum.
