Morning! Just chuckling over the Vogon poetry thread.

Humour is a potent weapon isn’t it? I was just thinking about how humour has been used by those opposing extremism and cracked down on by those expounding it through history. And our wonderful British tradition of Taking The Piss.
Then I thought about the Charlie hebdo attack and felt a mixture of sorrow, anger and resolve.

No strikes but I haven't been posting much. Feeling pretty despondent about the new policy of deleting posts which link to external content that doesn't meet the new rules. Is MNHQ seriously trying to police the whole internet now?

How is that workable? External content can be edited or change.

Spartacus your son sounds fantastic! I love his imagination. Remember when it was common for people to escape to dreamy worlds inside their heads and use their imagination KNOWING it was just imagination and not real? WTF happened?? Now we have men forcing their deranged fantasies on the rest of us like it's real!
