I've just come across this post from th wave now again and thought it could be informative to anyone who is unsure of where they stand with the current situation 're transitioning.

It moved me to tears and made me raging mad at the sheer manipulation of young lesbians who may question their identity.

I went to what I thought was a feminist meeting only to find it was dozens of very young people glorifying gender in a classic blue hair way.

One young woman - the same age as my DC - spoke of the fulfillment they felt in identifying as male. It was a heartbreaking account of self hatred, lesbophobia and internalised misogyny. I had put up with the rest of the woolly precious gender bollocks but this poor soul's speech was too distressing to bear.
