There is some, erm, disturbing stuff about someone who may or may not be him out there.
I deliberately avoid him on twitter, his selfies make me very uncomfortable and I don’t want to be involved in his obvious fetish.

I don't think it matters, ThisisSparta. As the saying goes, even a stopped clock is right twice a day, and Hope is definitely right about biological male people who describe themselves as lesbians.

But on Hope's page it says 'places he's lived'. I'm confused then.

Hope sounds brilliant! The using mens loo's and taking selfies is fab, not giving a fuck what other men think about how he dresses, more of that could only be positive. I'm glad he hasn't had any bother, and hope he never does.

I reckon the root of all this has been to preserve masculinity, and I think it's actually quite homophobic in many ways. Men are masculine, women, and men that were born in the wrong body and should have been female, are feminine. No middle ground can be allowed, or suddenly men and women aren't actually so different after all, and the patriarchy begins to fall apart. I think female to male transitioning was never really on the agenda, and has taken on a life of it's own. M>F has always been the TRA focus.

What I've seen of Hope on twitter has been very sound. He will be a loss.

If god didn't make mistakes then what are famine, drought, plague, genetic disabilities, etc? Things sent to test humanities faith and obedience? A relative of mine seems to think of it like that?

Thinking about it, those things used to often be seen as a punishment from God? I think even amongst most elderly people now, that sort of thinking is dying out. I hope so anyway.

Hope says that he isn't trans. I've seen some falling outs with old school transsexuals but not sure what that's about as they are critical of the TRAs too.

Maybe you can't hold Hope up as a paragon of virtue. They are a fetishist cross dresser, after all.
