Is anyone listening to this? It's fabulous - on all day.

Brilliant music by female artists interspersed with woman talking about all sorts of interesting things - the significance of their friendships with other women, how to encourage women to get involved in music producing, how to encourage women to get creative.

It's like DJLippy's FWR playlist on national radio!

Is it a one off programme or a series? Will look for it on the iplayer

it's a one off I think. part of a season at the bbc.

All the DJs today are women as well.

I listened between 6.45 and 7.30 this morning and loved it. I do enjoy Shaun Keaveney but there was something almost magical about listening to Joni Mitchell singing 'A Case Of You' at 7am. It was like gently sliding into the day.

It's a great idea and I hope they make it more regular

Yes it definitely be more often, or just more women DJs for a start during the day.
