Wings Over Scotland commissioned a survey re self ID in England. Had previously done one for Scotland in Jan.

The report can be found here
wingsoverscotland.com/girls-and-boys/

Summary
SCOTLAND (excluding DKs)

Good idea: 23.3%
Bad idea: 76.7%

ENGLAND (excluding DKs)

Good idea: 25.4%
Bad idea: 74.6%

The report is interesting reading. For anyone not familiar, WoS is a pro independence site. Also Gender Critical.

I think these views will be found to be very representative. Most sane people think self ID is a madness.

Not supporting self ID does not equal not supporting trans people's right to exist, and live free from discrimination.

I thought the most interesting thing about this was how much it appears to show women voters deserting Labour. If this is true then Labour should be shitting themselves.

Conservative party have a 9% lead over Labour amongst women.

"(The Tories, of course, are the ones who are actually bringing self-ID forward as policy, but Labour have deftly managed to draw most of the feminist anger about the issue onto themselves, and it’s hard to think of any other explanation that could be behind women’s sudden large-scale desertion of the party.)"

This line. You gotta laugh....or you'll cry.

Labour Party - You utter fools.

Labour are utter fools.

The Conservatives have spotted that big issues have been missed here and are not acting like lunatics.

Does the entire Labour Party use TERF blocker or something?

The vast majority of the population understand that transwomen and women are different.

Both deserve respect and rights.

Denying the differences will not help achieve this for either side.

It will be interesting to keep an eye on the voting intention polling from YouGov, Survation, Panelbase and all the rest of them and checking the data sets to see breakdowns by sex to see if this is an outlier or a trend.

Labour lost ground with women when JJ's AWS shortlist challenge was making mainstream news, so it does have an effect. I wonder if awareness is increasing?
