DHs TV mate has said much the same thing - for the last 30 years. His wife is supportive, and he is almost always in a dress if he is out socialising. We live in a very rural area and the men in the friendship group met in their teens working on a building site. We have never, ever known him not wearing dresses, enjoying the feel of it!
