Nigerian baby factories

The BBC are reporting on the raid of a Nigerian baby factory where women's babies are stolen for sale and trafficking.

"In some cases, unmarried pregnant women are promised healthcare, only for their children to be taken away. In others, women are raped and made pregnant. The babies can be sold for adoption, used for child labour, trafficked to Europe for prostitution or killed for ritual purposes"

I don't have words to describe how horrifying this is - it's apparently commonplace but I've literally never heard it reported on. How can anyone do this to another human?

That's hideous. Much as I am aghast at what is going on in the U.K., it feels like a utopia compared to what some women are going through
