She asked for somebody to post this here, so I'm obliging.

She does some good twitter too.

Aftershock15 · 17/04/2018 20:24

Her tweets are good and the ideas in that piece are good, but it is rather annoyingly written. Odd bits of sentences. Maybe too much time spent tweeting.

Freshlylaidterf · 17/04/2018 20:25

Excellent

Jeanhatchet · 17/04/2018 20:38

She's magnificent

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/04/2018 20:39

Written at great speed, I'd say, and not proofread. Meaning is clear, though.

I enjoy reading her tweets.

changeypants · 17/04/2018 20:49

Yes could do with an edit but still a thrilling, rousing read.

thornyhousewife · 17/04/2018 21:06

Oh that was a marvellous essay.

RandyBudgie · 17/04/2018 21:29

Just brilliant ! Can we print this out and send to all TRA’s?

Lisa if you are reading please consider submitting this to the Times, it needs putting out there!

Ifonlyus · 17/04/2018 21:35

That's a powerful essay. I devoured every word.

Ereshkigal · 17/04/2018 22:32

Read this, that she wrote in January 2017. And feel the chill down your spine.

LangCleg · 17/04/2018 23:05

Nothing Lisa writes on her blog is ever proofread! It takes a while to get used to the stream of consciousness style but she's almost always right on the button.

ReappearingWoman · 17/04/2018 23:35

Ereshkigal, that 2nd Link is so prescient.

Ereshkigal · 17/04/2018 23:37

I know. It's chilling.

jellycat · 17/04/2018 23:55

Wow, I really did feel a chill! Thanks for posting Ereshkigal

womanformallyknownaswoman · 18/04/2018 04:29

Brilliant

Am going to give you some advice India. If you do not wish to be perceived as a man, do not demonstrate the behaviour you demonstrate consistently. No amount of make up hides it. Your lack of concern for women’s consent, your belief that seventy years safeguarding systems for kids and women insult you personally, your need to dominate and subordinate female identities? They don’t just give you away as male, and being male is not a problem because being a trans woman is valid, they give you away as someone women should be wary of.

LangCleg · 18/04/2018 09:02

She's done another one:

idgeofreason.wordpress.com/2018/04/17/i-am-spartacus/

I am Spartacus. The law will never cover my perception or give you the right to have me ignore risk you pose, the law will never give you the right to be assessed on the basis of your identity alone and I am not responsible for managing any male identity. I will not teach my daughter to do so at the cost of her own rights and safety.

Ekphrasis · 18/04/2018 10:12

Fantastic article.

thornyhousewife · 18/04/2018 11:23

"I will not sacrifice the rights and boundaries of real girls for the imaginary inner girl of grown males."

Boom.

Betsvigi9 · 18/04/2018 11:31

I like this woman. 100% spot on.

Branleuse · 18/04/2018 14:24

Shes brilliant, thanks for posting this, as we had a falling out and i now cant see her twitter feed, but I do miss her excellent political points

Transpeaked · 18/04/2018 17:10

She’s fabulous. I’ve cried with both relief and anger reading her blog posts and tweets.

RosenbergW · 19/04/2018 00:35

Don't know if Lisa is reading here but if so - thank you for a set of spot on tweets (and blogpost) today.

I particularly liked this one so am posting it here:

By the time you are sexually coercing lesbians, fetishising schoolgirls and threatening and doxxing mothers, that's full house. That's BINGO. You really do not need to see the penis. In fact I'd rather not mostly.

Thank you Lisa.
