If women are on average physically smaller than men, it would also - on average - be cheaper to launch women astronauts, and more efficient to keep them fed and watered!

Also, and I hate to say this, but women are better at doing multiple tasks, not always and not always women, but on average they are - due to socialising methinks rather than an innate ability.

I would love to sign up and not come back!

Maybe they could send only women teams for a while, seeing as all the moon landing trips were men.
