So being gay now means nothing

Been arguing All day on Twitter about same sex attraction, which now apparently includes members of the opposite sex......i.e. A gay man will sleep with a trans man with a vagina....... I think I have somehow been transported into another dimension.........

The homophobia inherent in the rantings of TRAs (not, in general, those actual people with gender dysphoria) is frightening. We knew that some of the extremists appeared keen on lesbian erasure, but now they seem to have expanded to cover all homosexuals. How is that not a hate crime?

It’s denying a protected characteristic and some sort of conversion therapy all in one. Quite delightful, eh?

I saw a tweet by huffpostqueer recently and the homophobia (against lesbians specifically) in it shocked me. I'd heard of this kind of thing, but not seen it in action. Going to try and find the tweet because a screenshot will be better than me trying to remember what it said.

The fact it came from huffpostqueer too...who presumably are supposed to speak on behalf of all LGBT people. Appalling. And they are an organisation (I assume part of Huffington post) not a random individual so I kind of didn't expect it from them.

It just comes across to me like they are completely changing the meaning/denying the reality of being a lesbian. I know they said "some" not "all", but it still shocked me.

I wonder if this could be a sign of the transactivists getting too cocky (pun intended) for their own good? After all, no-one much cares about women's consent when it comes to sex (and lesbians have always been presumed by a certain sort of porn-addicted man to simply be putting on a pretend floor-show for the man's titillation prior to being turned straight by the power of his almighty penis), but men sure as hell care about freedom to choose what sort of sex they engage in (cf Little Owen Jones throwing his toys out of the pram when someone asked him, in the context of a conversation about the "cotton ceiling", whether he'd perform cunnilingus on a transwoman - his howls of outrage could be heard the length and breadth of Islington.)

Interestingly, I have heard rumours that a certain very prominent gay male defender of transactivist extremism may in fact be more than happy to sleep with transwomen provided they still have penises.

So there you have it: some "gay" men like vulvas provided they're attached to someone who presents as male; other "gay" men will sleep with the be-penised type of women but not the be-vulvaed type of women, yet want us to chant "transwomen are women" while still claiming to be gay men themselves.

It is a truly Humpty-Dumpty-esque world in which all meaning is being stripped from language.

Ironically this kind of thinking also denies the existence of trans people by denying same sex relationships. This was spotted very early on by gender critics and is yet another obvious flaw to the whole batshit “totalitarian sect”, as someone clever described on Twitter.
