I saw the spat last night. I struggled for a while to see where the MISGENDERING!!! had occurred. My summary:

LM referred to 'rich white cis gay men'.

TERFBlocker said it was a homophobic stereotype.

TRAs argued and concluded lesbians were definitely the biggest TERFs.

TERFblocker referred to a woman non-binary person who uses they/them pronouns as 'she'

TERFblocker was pronoun-shamed and deleted their Twitter account and website within seconds.

LM declared themselves as the new Women's Officer TERFBlocker.

Thanks to pp. I had been v confused as I assumed LM and TERFBlocker were in cahoots/knew each other/were all trans.

Why/how/who did TERFBlocker even come into being; and how did it get co-opted to (effectively) be Lily's shitlist?

LBGT were all friends in times of yore (ie. 2012), but now the T is taking over.

LGB rights were all about getting actual equal rights. Marriage, age of consent, abolition of section 28 etc. Very different from what the T has become (in a shockingly short space of time) - which is a whole new political gender ideology. A change of language. A reinforcement of "ladybrain" and "manbrain" - ie. concepts and gender roles which feminists have been fighting for decades.
