The Sunday politics on BBC one at the moment has listed labours aws as a topic being discussed. Other items are up first.

Sunday Politics filmed Venice Allen outside the HoC on Wednesday for this piece.

TheXXFactor · 18/03/2018 11:32

Light & happy music for Peto. Darth Vader-esque doom music for the feminists Hmm

TheXXFactor · 18/03/2018 11:34

And 90% of the air time in the pre-filmed segment given to men to discuss an issue that primarily affects women.

Switching off- my blood pressure won't take it.

grafittiartist · 18/03/2018 11:39

The music! Couldn't believe that! It was so blatant. How depressing.

OP posts:
PurplePirate · 18/03/2018 11:40

That was pointless.

BlueisthenewGrey · 18/03/2018 11:40

Well that completely missed the point. I think my "favourite" comment was it only affects a small proportion of the Labour Party.

I have no words.

grafittiartist · 18/03/2018 11:41

Why do the bigger implications not seem to click with people. They think that this is just about tans women- not the massive changes for women.

Did you honestly expect differently from the BBC? They gave Jenni Murray a warning for stating a scientific fact FFS.

TerfyMcTerface · 18/03/2018 11:45

I didn’t see the programme, but is this really “missing the point” or is it deliberate obfuscation, do you think?

Elendon · 18/03/2018 11:49

Yes the music was actually laughable. It just goes to show that this segment was trans positive - heaven help the team if it's anything else.

PussyTrumpHat · 18/03/2018 11:51

Men remain the most important even when they are TIMS
That was clear in the stats. At no time did they recognise the impact on 52% of society
Only trans

I loved the selfie with all the women outside the houses of Parliament. That was brilliant.

Mouthtrousersafrocknowandthen · 18/03/2018 11:58

It's more light on the subject. that always helps. The first thing shown is Heather Peto saying I've always known I am a woman, in his man's voice and his man's face, saying I should be on an all woman shortlist.

This is all good, it's speaking to a public that believe what they see, he's a man. They wont remember three quarters of the words, just that women are angry this man is on an all woman shortlist.

Mouthtrousersafrocknowandthen · 18/03/2018 11:59

I was there puckering up with Posy Parker. Like the men do in selfies!

Elendon · 18/03/2018 12:02

I absolutely got that reference Mouth

BlytheByName · 18/03/2018 12:17

Using lots of Peto is good. Twitter is responding with 'there are only two sexes or mental illness'.
And Sarah Smith was very much asserting that the 200 Labour women threatening to leave the party has caused a delay.. And Venice said 'he' on the BBC.

woman11017 · 18/03/2018 15:05

I agree mouth ;showing these blokes can only be useful to let more people see what's going on. He does look a bit like Eric Idle in this sketch?

Blythe Smith was good. Her dad would have had no truck with this nonsense.
TERFPressJunky · 18/03/2018 15:12

Corbyn sent his spokesman Matt, Matt was delighted that there will be an end to all women shortlist s. Matt wants our votes in May and in June they will remind us how much they hate us. They say it's not a problem to call us cunts, to interrogate us, for us to be beaten whilst picketing, to be exposed to any man in our space. We are useful idiots to them.

woman11017 · 18/03/2018 15:19

Think Matt got his numbers wrong too. 2-3000 he seems to think. Bless.

TERFPressJunky · 18/03/2018 15:20

Matt thinks he can beat the 'house' too.
